We were reminded today at Church (thanks to Alice Fabian) that Christianity should not be about Convenience, but rather about Sacrifice. If we find that we are slipping into the mindset of convenience then we should remember the example of Jesus. There was nothing convenient about following Jesus in the Early Church - just ask the disciples when you meet them face-to-face one day. So, in a similar way we should expect our fair share of sacrifice and commitment in our present Faith journey.
